Galbani® Marvelous Mortadella Sammy

Yields: 1 sandwich

INGREDIENTS

For the Pistachio Crema

2 oz. Galbani Mascarpone
1 tbsp. Pistachio paste
½ tsp. Lemon zest
Pinch Sea salt
   

For the Sandwich

1 Artisan ciabatta roll, halved
3-4 oz. Mortadella, thinly sliced
2 oz. Galbani Fresh Mozzarella Ovoline, torn into pieces
⅓ cup Baby arugula
1 ibsp. Pistachios, crushed & toasted
  Extra virgin olive oil, as needed
  Sea salt, to taste
  Cracked black pepper, to taste
   

METHOD

For the Pistachio Crema

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Mascarpone, pistachio paste, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.


For the Sandwich

  1. Brush both sides of the ciabatta with olive oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then grill or toast until golden and crisp on the edges.

  2. Spread a generous layer of pistachio crema on both sides of the toasted ciabatta.

  3. Layer mortadella slices, Ovoline, and arugula.

  4. Finish with crushed pistachios for added texture and flavor.

  5. Close the sandwich, press lightly, and cut in half. Serve warm or at room temperature.
