Galbani® Sausage, Pepperoni & Wild Mushroom Pizza


½ lb. Hot Italian sausage, tube or patties
1 Pizza dough, pressed into 10” round
1 cup Marinara pizza sauce
10–12 slices Galbani Thin Sliced Fresh Mozzarella
1 Yellow onion, sliced and caramelized
1 cup Sliced peppers (red, yellow, and orange)
¼ cup Pepperoni, cup and char
2 cups Wild mushrooms, sautéed and seasoned with salt
2 cups Arugula
8 leaves Fresh basil, julienned
  Extra virgin olive oil, for coating and drizzling


  1. Crumble Italian sausage into a hot pan over medium heat and cook thoroughly.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  3. Lightly coat pizza pan with olive oil and place dough on it, pressing to 10” wide.
  4. Spread sauce evenly over dough. Layer Mozzarella on top.
  5. Scatter caramelized onion, peppers, sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms on top.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes. Remove from oven and top with arugula and basil.
  7. Drizzle with a little olive oil and serve.
