Galbani® Presto Pesto Margherita Pie


1 Pizza dough, pressed into 10” round
3 Tomatoes, medium size, thinly sliced
10–12 slices Galbani Thin Sliced Fresh Mozzarella
¼ cup Fresh basil pesto
  Extra virgin olive oil, for coating and drizzling
  Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  Red pepper flakes, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Lightly coat pizza pan with olive oil and place pizza dough on it, pressing to 10” round.
  3. Drizzle with additional olive oil. Layer tomato slices, followed by Mozzarella slices.
  4. Bake for about 18–20 minutes, remove from oven, and drizzle pesto sauce around pizza.
  5. Garnish with basil leaves and red pepper flakes.
