16 oz. | Pizza dough |
1 cup | Fresh tomato sauce (plus extra for garnish) |
1 package | Galbani Premio Shredded Mozzarella |
6–8 (2 oz., each) | Donatella’s Famous Meatballs |
1 tbsp. | Galbani Parmesan cheese |
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste | |
Extra virgin olive oil for garnish | |
1 | Handful fresh basil leaves for garnish |
Pre-heat the oven to the hottest setting possible.
Roll the pizza dough into an oblong shape. Dock dough with tines of a fork.
Spread fresh tomato sauce evenly on entire surface of dough, leaving 1/4-inch of dough to form the edge of the pizza.
Generously top pizza with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Slice each pre-cooked meatball into 4 uniform slices and place on pizza.
Sprinkle a 1 tbsp. Parmesan over pizza. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Slide pizza directly onto pizza stone and bake 15–18 minutes, until the edge of the pizza is golden brown, and cheese is bubbling.
Dollop with warm, fresh tomato sauce, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and decorate with fresh basil leaves before serving.
