PRÉSIDENT® DON BERNARDO® MANCHEGO CHEESE CHORIZO AND KALE PIZZA
Makes 1 Pizza
INGREDIENTS
1 | Pizza crust |
½ cup | Extra virgin olive oil |
12 oz. | Stewed Italian tomatoes |
1 cup | Président Don Bernardo Manchego cheese, shredded |
3 oz. | Spanish chorizo, sliced thin |
1 cup | Baby kale |
1 tbsp. | Sherry vinegar |
Kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste |
METHOD
- Brush 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil around the edge of the pizza crust.
- Top crust with stewed Italian tomatoes, a layer of shredded Président Don Bernardo Manchego (reserving a little for garnish), and then add chorizo—all evenly distributed across the crust.
- Bake at 450 degrees F for 12–15 minutes or until crust is cooked through.
- Mix baby kale, vinegar, remaining extra virgin olive oil, and kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste in a mixing bowl.
- When pizza comes out of the oven, garnish with kale salad and reserved Manchego cheese.
