Southwest Steak Salad with Feta

Savory steak is marinated in subtle spice and sits alongside bold peppers, onions and rich Feta in this hearty salad. Serve with tortillas, naan or lettuce wraps for a well-rounded meal.

Salad Ingredients

8 oz. Président® Feta Chunk
1 lb Skirt steak
1 Red pepper
1 Green pepper
1 Orange pepper
1 Red onion
1/4 cup Olive oil

Marinade Ingredients

1/2 cup Olive oil
4 Garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 tsp. Red pepper flakes
3 tbsp. Cilantro, minced
1 tbsp. Cumin powder
1/2 tbsp. Chili powder
  Lime Juice



  1. Combine and whisk all marinade ingredients for the marinade.
  2. Place steak in a zippered bag. Pour marinade over steak, close bag and place in the fridge for one-half hour.
  3. Remove the steak from the bag. Grill to the desired doneness and let the meat rest.
  4. Grill peppers and onion.
  5. Slice the steak thinly and arrange the grilled vegetable alongside.
  6. Sprinkle with lime juice, cracked pepper, cilantro, and Président® Feta.
  7. Serve with warm naan bread or tortillas.
