BALSAMIC ROASTED PEARS STUFFED WITH PRÉSIDENT® DON BERNARDO® MANCHEGO CHEESE
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS
| 4 | Bartlett pears |
| 4 tbsp. | Président butter, melted |
| ¼ cup | Balsamic vinegar |
| 4 oz. | Président Don Bernardo Manchego cheese, shredded |
| 4 tbsp. | Balsamic vinegar glaze |
| Sliced almonds for garnish |
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Trim off the bottom and gently remove the core of each whole pear. Peel pears, keeping them whole.
- With a pastry brush, spread 1 tablespoon melted President butter in 8-inch square baking dish.
- Arrange pears cut-side down and brush with remaining butter. Bake in center of oven for 1 hour. Baste pears with juices occasionally. Add balsamic vinegar and cover pears with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes of baking. Remove pears from oven, let cool completely.
- When ready to serve, stuff the pears with shredded Président Don Bernardo Manchego and return to 350-degree F oven to heat for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and place on serving plates. Drizzle pears with balsamic vinegar glaze, and top with almonds.
