Galbani® Pickled Pink Artichoke Pie

INGREDIENTS

1 Pre-made or homemade pizza dough (12”)
2 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1½ cups Galbani Premio Mozzarella, shredded
1 cup Artichokes, grilled and quartered
½ cup Pickled red onions, thinly sliced
½ cup Galbani Gorgonzola, crumbled
  Kosher salt, to taste
  Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  Fresh basil, for garnish
  Balsamic glaze, optional
   

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.

  2. Roll dough out on floured surface to desired thickness. Brush dough with olive oil.

  3. Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Then, sprinkle Mozzarella on top. Spread artichokes and onions over the Mozzarella. Then, sprinkle Gorgonzola over the toppings.

  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  5. Remove pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with basil, and drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavor, if desired.
